I’m Sidney South—artist, producer, and photographer/videographer behind Lucky Kajun Productions.

Born and raised in New Orleans, my journey has always been fueled by creativity. Music and the arts have shaped my life—whether it was playing in the school marching band, writing songs, and eventually learning how to produce music, drawing, and dancing hip-hop played a major part as well. That passion carried me into teaching, traveling, and performing Latin dance.

In 2005, after Hurricane Katrina, I left New Orleans and found a new home in Austin, TX, thanks to the kindness of a friend. Through every transition, my love for creativity never faded. Photography and videography became the perfect extension of my artistic journey, allowing me to capture moments, tell stories, and bring visions to life.

Lucky Kajun Productions is my creative avenue—a space where I share my art through photography, videography, and music. Through my lens, you’ll see the world as I do. Through my music, you’ll hear my story.
